I recently took a trip to Key West with my sister and our parents – it was so nice to take a break from all the cold and snow that this Minnesota winter keeps dishing out!

While on vacation, we visited The Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory. What a neat place! It’s kind of a photographer’s dream…being able to get up close without scaring those beautiful creatures away. The tour guide told us that it is considered incredibly good fortune if a butterfly lands on you – at the very end of the tour one landed on the back of my dad’s head!
